This mini-expansion was designed especially to thank our wonderful kickstarter backers for their support and has been included in every Kickstarter copy of Kavango. It includes eight animal cards and two bonus conservation experts that add even more variety and excitement to the game.

The focus is of the mini-expansion is animals vulnerable to climate change and global heating. The exclusive desert-adapted animals added in are rare and endangered sub-populations of highly specialised animals. These animals are the only ones in the game worth more than ten points because they are so difficult to safely introduce to your reserve.

The mini-expansion also gives you two extra conservation experts who will help protect your animals with their unique abilities. The climatologist helps both with climate protection and mitigation in the game; the veterinarian provides additional sanctuary space for your vulnerable animals.
